Entrol delivers advanced H135 simulator to transform pilot training for The Aerotech Group

  • Simulator designed with a layout adjusted to the real H135 P2+ cockpit for highly precise training tailored to the operator’s needs
  • State-of-the-art cylindrical visual system, featuring a database with 10 strategic Australian airports for realistic and comprehensive training
  • Integration of advanced technology, including an optional vibration system to provide an immersive simulation experience true to real flight conditions

Madrid, December 3rd, 2025

Entrol, the manufacturer of EASA and FAA certified FNPT, FTD, and FFS flight simulators, announces the sale and upcoming delivery of an H135 simulator to The Aerotech Group, a prominent aviation company in Australia. The Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) was successfully completed at the end of September 2025, with installation planned for 1Q 2026. The simulator will support both internal and external pilot training activities.

Tailored simulation for effective pilot training

The H135 simulator is specifically configured to match the real cockpit layout used by The Aerotech Group, ensuring pilots train in an environment highly representative of their operational helicopter. This customization enhances pilot familiarization and reduces the learning curve during real flights.

Equipped with two advanced Garmin avionics units—a GTN 750 Xi and a GTN 650 Xi—the simulator replicates the navigation and flight management systems integral to the H135 P2+. This enables pilots to perform realistic flight planning, situational awareness, and instrument procedures during simulation sessions.

The simulator’s visual system is cylindrical, offering a wide field of view that immerses pilots in realistic environments. It features a 200º horizontal by 40º vertical field of view (FOV), delivered through three projectors to create a seamless and highly detailed panorama. This advanced system includes a high-fidelity database with 10 important Australian airports, including Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane, enabling pilots to practice approaches, departures, and operational scenarios in true-to-life settings. The system is suitable for IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) and MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation) training, ensuring comprehensive applicability for varied pilot training needs.

To augment the realism, a vibration system simulates the physical sensations and vibrations experienced in flight, providing a comprehensive multisensory training experience

Claudia Calleja, Business Manager at entrol, stated: “This project with Aerotech Group highlights our capability to deliver tailored simulators that closely fit the needs of operators worldwide. The H135 P2+ simulator, with its advanced avionics and Australian-specific database, will enhance pilot preparedness and safety.”

Innovation and tailored technology for evolving training needs

Entrol’s commitment to innovation is reflected in the customization and technological sophistication of its simulators. Each device is designed in close collaboration with the client to meet their unique operational and training requirements. For the Aerotech Group H135 P2+ simulator, entrol has integrated cutting-edge avionics, a comprehensive visual database, and optional immersive features like vibration systems, ensuring an adaptable platform capable of evolving with future training demands.
The modular architecture of entrol’s simulators allows for seamless upgrades and expansions, such as new mission scenarios, updated avionics software, or enhanced visual environments, maximizing the lifespan and relevance of the simulator investment.
This flexibility empowers operators like Aerotech Group to maintain the highest standards in pilot training while adapting quickly to regulatory changes, new operational challenges, and emerging technologies.
